Is Goat’s Milk Closest to Breastmilk?

Can Unused Kabrita Formula Be Reused?

This milk naturally contains high levels of phospholipids, which are compounds that contribute to babies’ brain development. In addition, it contains higher concentrations of essential fatty acids and medium-chain triglycerides, making it an ideal choice for infants and toddlers.

Kabrita uses all-natural, GMO-free ingredients of the highest quality. Their formulas are also free of any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Goat milk is also naturally nutrient-dense, and Kabrita formulas are fortified with vitamins and minerals to ensure that your little one gets all the nutrition they need.

How to Prepare Kabrita Formula

Each individual formula includes its own set of instructions. Refer to the individual product pages to find the English preparation instructions.

Wash hands and sterilize all equipment following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Boil 1 liter of fresh drinking water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.

Measure the required amount of water into a sterilized bottle (refer to the feeding guide).

Using only the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder - 1 level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveler. Do not press down on the powder.

Place cap(s) back on the bottle and shake vigorously until all the powder has dissolved (usually 15 seconds).

Cool down the formula to a drinking temperature of approx. 98.6°F (37°C) by holding the bottle under cool running water. Feed immediately. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding every time.

The European Union (EU) has some stringent farming and food standards when it comes to infant formulas, including restrictions on the use of antibiotics or hormones in the goats, and pesticides on the crops goats feed upon.

Formula Preparation Best Practices

Infant formula in a container should be used within one month of being opened. Write the date that the container was opened on the lid to ensure you stay within this window.

Make sure the scoop is clean prior to scooping powder from the container. Make sure the lid is sealed tight and secure when finished. Unfinished baby formula that is refrigerated quickly can be stored for feeding within 24 hours. Otherwise, they should be discarded.
